This study explored the process by which out-of-school adolescents reached delinquency and verified through multi-group analysis whether this path was different between the two groups of single-parent children and two-parent children. Data were obtained from the 2013(1rd) of Panel Survey of School Dropout, this study analyzed data of 770(single-parent 278, two-parent 492) school dropped-out adolescent. Structural equation modeling and multi-group analysis were conducted by using AMOS 21.0, the Sobel test was used to analyze mediating effects. Results were as follows. First, compared to children of two-parent, single-parent children had a lower level of parental attachment, less time to participate in positive activities, less perceived economic status, and more cases of serious delinquency. Second, in the process of out-of-school adolescents reaching serious delinquency, it was found that the number of friends who dropped out of school, the friend's delinquency tendency, and parental attachment had a mediating effect. Third, as a result of examining for total effect, the variable that most influenced on out-of-school adolescents¡¯ serious delinquency was friend's delinquency tendency. Fourth, as a result of the multigroup analysis, there was no significant difference in the path of the research model between single-parent children and two-parent children.
